Wait did you delete the whole story before revising it? Dang I was interested in reading this full through. Hopefully you come back to it at some point

Wow. Quite the story! Thank you!
**spoiler alert to those reading reviews before story**
I really like how the story begins soon after poto, and quickly moves into the story of Christine and Erik! The way they come together is great! I love that he turns her away and she continues until she is able to break through a little, that she keeps pushing until she is at least able to tell him and show him the sincerity of how she feels. That perfect storm...to force the situation just enough to finally lay it all out! "Don't forget this feeling" as he plans to let her go again.
Chapter 9...she is so smart and strong in knowing she could only plant seeds and allow him the time to come around on his own. Her understanding of him is beautiful. Chapter 10, his sorting it out and coming to the conclusion on his own following her nudging, his realization and determination once he does as he finally goes to her! 2 of my favourite, very impressive chapters!
A lot of heartache in this story...a lot, (maybe too much for me) especially after all they had to overcome just to come together and get to a point of a real life and happiness. Vito, just as they are trying to get out for a fresh start. Raoul, loved him (for once), his understanding, sincerity, help and friendship! Poor Raoul!
Vito finding them again, and all he does to them. (Wish he truly would have been dead then!)
The heartbreaking loss of their first child, your description of this and how deeply and dangerously it breaks them both, and how close they come to breaking apart, but always bringing eachother back, in all of their very serious and painful life changing events that they are forced to endure and overcome!
The regular part of their lives they do get to enjoy...marriage, work, friends, a son.
The time just before Erik is going to find Vito. Had to be the most heartbreaking for me. This chapter was so powerful to me, so emotional. I could feel literally so much of his pain. Eril knowing what he had to do, why, and what would likely happen. All his actions in preparation for the ultimate sacrifice to protect his family. It hurt so much, his knowing he is going to die, knowing this would be his last time to spend loving Christine. "Don't forget this feeling"...again, as he knows he is leaving her for good this time. Ouch! Not to forget the hit in Eriks thought that he "would have held his son longer had he known that was the last time he would see him" (that hint was hard to swallow)
Vito...ugh! That last bit of him was horrible. Erik knowing the shots from the first encounter was deadly, struggling against that to still get to Christine and save his family, just to fight to survive and die in her arms. Every thought, action, word between Erik and Christine from the time Vito dies to when Erik dies. OMG! So much hurt inside, true emotion and anguish I had,
I could feel it in my chest and my throat choke...amazing writing!
I will admit, I do not feel Erik had to die in this story. If anything I would say they deserved that victory after everything. A last min. miracle after help came...or if Erik stayed home maybe seeming not to be and Vito still showed up for Christine but Erik kills him then, or even more so for Erik to have successfully hunted down Vito and killed him (which I believe there is much reason to believe that Erik would be able, he had spent much time in his life living in shadows, living as a ghost amongst the world, his "work" in persia amongst other seemingly easy murdering, he seemed to be able to sneak attack on his enemies pretty easy) especially with his family at stake, which on the other hand I can see him putting his life easily on the line for as well for sure but could have set out with his life on the line but survived. I think for me the story would have been more satisfying had they been granted more time together...Erik more time with the family he finally had and I feel they earned that. However, not to complain, your story is yours, the way you saw it and it was truly great. I am thankful for a little healing for my broken heart with their daughter and the day I believe she was conceived. Charles and his connection to music, with his older sister he never got to know and with his little sister! His dream with his Dads face just like his! As well as Erik's last chapter, he is with Estelle, watching down on his family and waiting to be reunited with Christine! Phew! Thank you, thank you! (Sorry so painfully long...hope you still see these...)

I know I say it a lot, but the ending of this has me genuinely crying. Christine's heartbreak and loss is expressed so realistically here, and there's still a sharp tang of bittersweetness from Erik as he has to stay back and watch his family (though I appreciated the Estelle line.) Now, I'm going to go find some tissues and read a really fluffy fic to recuperate. This was very well written.

(Apparently you can't use a hyphen in reviews unless it's part of word? They just don't show up if there are spaces? What a silly thing. Hyphens are literally seventy percent of how I speak. Ugh.)
The dialouge here is wonderful! Neither party overshadows the other and everything is pulled into the open with a frank curtness that flows very naturally between these two. The kiss was inevitable, as was Erik pushing her away afterwards. I'm intrigued by the psychological diagnosis you've made with Erik. I haven't seen that theory before but it makes buckets of sense.

When they go at itthey certainly go at it, don't they? Also, what a great slap. I feel like Christine giving Erik a good slap to the face is always overdue. Get it, gurl. Get you some respect.

Love your author's note. He certainty is a broody little bastard. haha. Also, I now see a recurring theme is your Erik charactersalcoholwhich I still respect as a choice of vice for him, seeing as he is a character of addictive personality. The opening of him stating he's hasn't cried since Christine and him crying when she arrives was a great way to round out the chapter.
