Just binged everything up to this point in one session and by god has Jade stolen my heart. I wish she'd treat herself better! absolutely fucked that shes walking herself up to the sacrificial altar like that. man. the way she distances herself (both consciously and sub?consciously) from others is kind of heartbreaking. sometimes i feel like she views herself with the same detached arrogance of the gods? in that she carries herself like how someone might carry a weapon. sometimes she feels more divine than human with her omniscience and general apathy for what happens to herself, but she still cares (!).,..
anyhow, incredible this was an incredible read! thank you for sharing your work, and i can't wait to see how Jade's story ends. (or maybe just this chapter of her life? maybe we'll see her again at a later time, hopefully happier (please.,,))
