It makes sense that this type of person would look down on a ideology as simple to empathize with as spiderman's with the dumb and dangerous outlook on life he has. The only reason he can even feel confident that the people he's empowered aren't a risk to the world is because of his meta knowledge not due to himself being a good judge of character or something. If anything he's so powerful that what he's doing at the moment is beyond easy and amounts to what is essentially the bare minimum of what he could do. Yet here he is breaking his back while attempting to perform oral on himself. If we go by his own words he doesn't need any sort of discipline or considering the consequences of his actions because he has enough power to handle the fallout of his actions so he doesn't really need to care that deeply about what he does.
Spiderman's ideology isn't even about having an obligation to help out the weak if you have power or anything of the sort. That's just the most literal, dumbest and disingenuous way to interpret it. It's not an obligation or a call to action that can be misused/misconstrued from person to person but a reminder that for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction. So if you use said power you must only do so responsibly while always thinking of the consequences of your actions. It's funny that 4chan was mentioned a few chapters back because it made me think that the mc really sounds like some pseudo intellectual that gets their whole outlook on life from info gathered from social media and uses it to try and pretend their smart. There's really nothing more fearsome than someone dumb who thinks they're smart.

Does this entire novel revolve around confusing transition/travel between worlds and dialogue while also empowering every random person that crosses his path? I could barely figure out what was happening from one scene to another in the first 10 chapters and when it seems like things are starting to make a little sense it drifts back into being unintelligible.

I'm so very confused. So much is going on, he's buffing beings and people he just has not had time to get to know, the fish and... whatever Murphy is feel very random, and kinda eh cause they're just suddenly powered now, and there's My Little Pony.

I love Transmetropolitan and any reference to Spider Jerusalem makes me happy. His bowel disruptor is the most evil, non-lethal weapon I can think of and there is nothing to cope with it in the Kick-ass world… Justice Forever will be extra effective now, but people will know if they’d been there by the smell.

Merlin gave Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl wallcrawling and web creation by transferring attributes from insects to humans. If Merlin ever traveled to “Harry Potter,” could he transfer traits to an animagus’ animal form BUT NOT THEIR HUMAN FORM? For example, giving Professor McGonagall’s cat form a Threstal’s ability to only be visible to those who have witnessed death, and then modifying it into generic invisibility that works on everyone (plus an on and off switch).
SERIOUS JUSTIFICATION:
Merlin limiting the power of invisibility so it can only be used while in animal form cuts down on potential abuse; i.e. good for sneaking around but bad for thievery and robbing people.
SEMI-CRACK JUSTIFICATION:
In pop culture, Merlin is often portrayed as a trickster mentor who wants to encourage creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, so having a power that can only be used while in animal form will force people to use their brains.
Bonus silliness if Merlin tells Dumbledore that the modified animagus’ fur can be used to craft invisibility cloaks (like Demiguise fur in canon), as Professor McGonagall would NOT be happy getting shaved bald just so the Order of the Phoenix can have more invisibility cloaks.
Scene:
Dumbledore: “It was for the Greater Good.”
McGonagall: (furless cat) “Hiss!”
