Well, I wasn't expecting this confrontation - I figured someone in the village would have figured out that Jae-ha was the escaped dragon. But I guess they forgot his name. I wonder how the villagers will react to the 'cursed monster' being back in the village.

Good thing Zeno knows - and that he and Jae-ha had some alone time. I bet it won't be quite so easy to leave though.

Oh my. Things are just getting worse. Jae-ha should probably try to convince the group to leave. I'm pretty sure he's going to bail at some point. Too bad Yona and Yun are going to need a pretty good reason to leave the village behind.

Oh god the last chapter made me cry so bad D: very good buildup you had there and very good description of emotion and (in this case) trauma and how it can manifest. It's realistic that Jae-Ha first tried to push it all aside and finally break down and I love how you depicted their little family and I imagine it would go similar to this, would they ever wander upkn Jae-Ha's village. So great job you did there, keep up the good work!

I think this was one of the best stories I've ever read. The way you described Jae-Ha's feelings of being chained down actually made me feel anxious with him. And the ending seriously made me cry (also trying desprately not to disturb my family lol). I loved every bit of this. Thank you

I also wanted to say that, as a big fan of Firefly, I got really excited when I saw the title of your story. I thought it was an excellent tie-in to Jae-ha. I really liked how you developed that vulnerable side of Jae-ha we see in everyone else but hardly in him.

I've really enjoyed this story as it was updated a bit at a time. I completely overlooked the fact that the group never knew anything about Jae-ha's village, and I'm glad you addressed it. I think this might be my favorite chapter, it felt really powerful emotionally and I had to fight back my own tears as I read. Fantastic story, I'm glad I found it.
