Poor Rose, poor Dimitri, they both made promised to each other if they should ever be turned and now Rose is guilted as she feels she has failed Dimitri...Dimitri's POV would be interesting to read, what were his thoughts as he watched Rose jump from the bridge. It always amazed me as we read in the books how Strgoi are selfish, out for themselves, crave for greed of wealth, power and control around them, yet we read Dimitri giving Rose choices, giving Rose free will to decide for herself to be turned. Bringing back beautiful gifts, even the scene at the bridge we see what I think is genuine remorse and sorrow from Dimitri when Rose jumped... Or is this all an elaborate scheme to win Rose over? And than when Rose jumped was Dimitri feeling/thinking that her death is such a waste as Rose would have made a great Strigoi and together Dimitri and Rose as Strigoi would have made a diabolical team, provided they didn't piss the other off!

Cool. I've often wondered what would have happened if rose had jumped. As for learning Russians is awesome. I find myself wishing I could. This series want to go to Siberia...arctic wasteland and all. :) I do wish there was a translation listed. I think I sort of understand due to context but it would be nice to know for sure.
