Oh darling, how long has it been? I love the sound of this and the darkness and depth that you've brought to Enjolras' and Grantaire's relationship as well as the one between himself and Combeferre is really, really well done. Enjolras' confusion and inability to confide in any of his friends really got to me and this dark pit that he's falling into is really, really intriguing and I can't wait to see where you go from here!

I really want to know what happens next! It will be so interesting to see how E and R's positions are sort of switched in this story!

Wow, I love the way this is starting so far! I do very much hope that you continue this story. I like it a lot already!

First of all, as I have commented before, I love the characterization in your writing. Enjolras and Grantaire (who are two of my favorite characters ever, so I am glad to see them in this story! :)) both are portrayed excellently!

The way Enjolras hates taking the pills, because it makes him feel weak, and he has always been so strong, and everyone thinks he is strong, and he wants to be strong, the way he disgusts himself, the way he wants to quit but cannot… all of that was great. It illustrates Enjolras’s character very well, but also it demonstrates (I imagine) how most if not all people feel when they begin using.

Secondly, I love the very idea of this story. (Great idea! Good thinking! Good inventing!) It’s very interesting to see someone as strong as Enjolras, who everyone is looking to, taking drugs and ruining himself like this, lowering himself so that he has to depend on those pills just to get through the day. For all that is good, I hope he can bring himself to quit before this gets out of hand. But I fear things will only get worse before they get better.

VERY interesting to see that Grantaire has quit drinking! This just gets better and better! What a twist! It is as if their places have been reversed. Now Enjolras is the one addicted, and Grantaire is the one who is clean. I am looking forward to see where this goes. I am hoping and thinking that since Grantaire has a similar experience with addition, and since he and Enjolras are close friends now, and since Grantaire is already onto him, Enjolras might eventually open up to him and tell him what is going on. Maybe they can get him some help before this gets out of hand.

Also, a side note, I am glad to see that Enjolras and Grantaire are friends now! I hope Enjolras forgives him and apologizes and everything goes well at their next meeting. Only time will tell…

Great story; I am loving it so far. I hope you continue it. Please update soon!

An interesting premise indeed. Oh and HI! I know it's been a while since you've heard from me and vice versa. It's good to be reading your fics again. I'll be interested to see how this goes, even if you only make it a two or three shot (personally I think that would work well for this but it's up to you). The fact that Enjolras and Grantaire are reversed in their positions makes this very interesting. Good job on the start!
