It would have been justice for the Dursleys to receive 10 years in prison. The same length of time Harry served in the boot cupboard. 5 years is not nearly long enough as the judge's previous comment was regarding the possible murder of a minor child. Dudley is possibly beyond help. Remains to be seen. Fascinating chapter.

Caught the comment about visiting the Potters' graves. It's quite possible Petunia never knew where they were buried. From reading between the lines in canon it seems the only information the Dursleys ever received regarding the Potters death was the letter left with Harry. Harry's wand still works for him? Seems odd that it would especially with all the extra power being channeled.

Never could understand how the neighborhood accepted that Harry went to school for criminally incurable boys. No such school would release children for summer holidays. The entire neighborhood can't all be stupid. Doing a read again.

This may not be a very intricate or complicated story, but it sure is a bloody good one!
Ignoring typos,( bloody spell-checker! ) this is magnificently written! Its not overly detailed to the point of boredom, its in common speech so its not over the readers heads, the chapters are a comfortable size for readers to enjoy, and its all done without pairings! That's noteworthy in itself.
I absolutely love how dealt with Moldy-Voldy and Albus. Considering Albus always kept his machinations hidden, and Tom demanded the spotlight, I found your ending to them to be sheer perfection! (couldn't give them what they wanted after all.)
I find myself somewhat disappointed that you don't have more works at the moment. ( greedy, entitled and selfish bugger that I am.) simply for the reason that you are an exceptionally talented writer, and I would love to indulge in more of your imagination. Oh well, good things come to those who wait, so wait I shall, and be happy to do so. :-)

My favorites are the chapters where Al Dd is getting his butt kicked and where Harry is being treated well. I did really enjoy this chapter too. I hope there's more on Dobby and the Potter elves and that they accept Dobby.

Why would anyone choose to share their body with the soul of the dark lord that killed their parent for even a second more than necessary? If they have a solution ready, missing a few days of school would be a small concern I would think.
