I love it personally I can't wait for more blood splatter in the future although, I am slightly worried about how much I enjoyed this chapter but whatever because as long as a story has a plot this good I'll read it.

nice little intimidation of the marines id take a stab and say 75 million first bounty although knowing Luffy he'd be extremely happy if it were even one berri more then Ace's first.

I'm sorry, but this setting makes no sense... it's not what u didn't specify that is the problem, like how long was he captive, or how... its what you did... how is the reader supposed to believe that in an island as small as his, Garp couldn't find his grandson with observation Haki? You should've kept him in a different island.
And I hope in the author's note at the bottom you meant when he set off in his journey he'll have conqueror's, otherwise, why would he need a scalpel? But the way its written looks like he has it already 1 year after Sabo's death

Like hell Luffy's afraid. He just doesn't want to deal with Smoker. Too much of a pain. I don't blame him for wanting to avoid him. So Luffy likes tea, does he? That'll earn him extra points with a certain beauty. Luffy's starting bounty will probably be over 100,000,000. Considering how much damage he's done to pirates and marines alike, it'd be surprising he didn't at least get that much.
