I think the next chapter will be interesting seeing how zoro has a enormous handicap this time with two of his swords cracked and what ever injury's incurred in the fight with pearl plus with out his steal cuting move he technically should of failed at cutting though pearls armour with cracked swords honestly I'm serpised they didn't shatter on draw ween Hawkeye showed up but I'm looking foreword to more

Man cant wait for next chapter, its shaping up to be awesome. And the way you have developed luffy is pretty good. I usually hate anything with angst as it ruins most stories, but there is just the perfect amont to not make the story suck. I hope you keep writting this story for a long time to come.

Yipes, you made that death super gruesome and I wonder what's going to happen next given how Gin is an ally to Luffy and we get Mihawk coming over for Zoro. But I wonder what else is going to happen to canon now that we see how Luffy tends to contain a very massive killer aura that goes past Lucci's and Luffy is just Luffy but hides the fact that if you so much as to dare cross him, it's the end for you.

On reading this chapter through again, after reexamining Chapter 1, I find it odd that Luffy doesn't have more of an aversion to fire; did he get over it in the years since he escaped the mad doctor?
