Very well-written. I could hear all of their voices, especially, for some reason, Stovall's. He came in loud and clear. Your knowledge of planes and bombing runs is wonderful. I could see and hear everything that happened up there as if I was watching the show. It's a great show and I wish more writers would take up the pen (keyboard) and write for it.
I'd love to see Joe Gallagher and Sandy Komansky in a few tales of peril. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent story. I have always loved the series with Robert Lansing and even Paul Burke. I have been watching the episodes on Youtube.

What a marvelous story with well developed original characters. This is my "go to" Twelve O'clock High story. (None of those dreadful things outshining the main characters!) I enjoy this story every time I read it. You are a very gifted writer, please consider gifting us with more stories!

Love this! The story is very well written, just like an episode. And I was right there in the action. The dialogue was perfect! I could hear Robert Lansing's voice and inflection when I read General Savage's dialogue, as well as the others in the parts from the TV. Wonderful job on this! And you taught me something as well. I had no clue as to why the bombardier was given controls over the plane. Every episode with a bombing run, General Savage would always say "She's yours." And now I know. Thank you for clearing up that for me. Again, great writing and very believable!

May have been written to follow the book, but I could see the episode played out by Robert Lansing and the crew of the 918th...
Good Narrative, felt like I was there...
