While I'm very glad you aren't cocky, I can't imagine how you could think any of your stories aren't good. There has never been so much as a paragraph in any of your stories that I didn't like. Sometimes the age differences bother me but in this they were just friends until she got older so it doesn't bother me at all.

I really loved this! I liked that you had Oliver break up with Laurel before going on the Gambit. Hope you continue you this, I'd love to see some flashbacks to Tommy/Felicity's time without Oliver, maybe the time the bar called her to get drunk Tommy and they became better friends?

I loved this actually. I always enjoy what you write and this was no exception. I've actually always wanted to read a full length story like this: Oliver and Felicity meet before the island, then he gets lost, she becomes friends with Tommy in his absence and what happens after. I've seen a few before but they never seem to get finished. So I loved it although I was left wanting more.
I usually am left wanting more when you post though. Especially because no matter what it is Oliver and Felicity never quite get together. I'm usually left saying "OH COME ON! At least KISS!" But it is a testament to how well you write and how much I enjoy your writing that I keep on reading and hoping. I love alternate realities and the idea that one difference can change everything.
I completely understand how busy and consuming real life can be and that it definitely takes priority over writing fics but I can't wait for you to start another full length long fic. Technical Assistance was probably the best Olicity fic I've ever read. I loved it and seeing I had a new update to read always made my day. We could use some good fic to read with all the angst lately...lol.
I can't wait to see what you write next. I don't even care what universe its in. I always end up buying into them and wanting more. And I'll just keep hoping that Oliver and Felicity will actually get together in the next one. I don't need smut or even love scenes but a good kiss and understanding of mutual reciprocated feelings goes a long way.

It is a beautifully written piece, but (imho) definitely not my favourite of your fics. Maybe I've read something like that before or... I can't put my finger on why exactly, but it didn't left me reeling after I read it :)

I don't know what you are talking about. This was absolutely lovely. We get young Oliver and Felicity, and getting to see non-douching young Oliver was a plus even before he got an attitude adjustment from the 5 years in hell. I assumed with Felicity's influence in his life, Oliver didn't cheat on Laurel with Sara but actually broke up with her before leaving with Sara on the Queen's Gambit. While still not good, is better than the him cheating story line. And the Tommy and Felicity bonding and that Tommy knew about Felicity! That was beautiful especially the moment at the end when Felicity stood up for herself and said she wasn't anyone's property (also prioritizing, is that the right word here?, her friendship with Oliver before hers and Tommy's). And of course, even with 5 years apart, Oliver and Felicity still knew each other so well. Oliver's reaction to Felicity's being hurt is also spot on to what Stephen Amell said Oliver would react too. Great chapter. :)

I am not sure why you think this fic felt wrong. It was a little slow building for being a stand alone chapter but I really liked having their relationship start off as friends and then meeting after years of trials for them both. You could tell that he obviously still cared for her after all of those years. With it being a more slow moving story of course as with any of your short stories I would like more chapters on it. Ohhh but if you were going to so a longer fic again please do the avian Oliver one. I really fell for that one. Lol I have reread it like 5 times.
