Interesting plot line, the idea that "Q" was actually Hermione hit me as soon as I read the name of the brains behind the I.C.W's spells and equipment, writing a 2nd chapter to close this off would be a good idea.

I guess that Hermione is a good master especially because she does not want to be a master. It will be interesting how things develop.
Another point is that some boys may take interest in dating Hermione, purely because she has two veela slaves.

I think it is even worse. If I was either Dumbledore or Voldemort I would ask for an unbreakable vow of Snape. It is in the nature of a spy not to be able to be trusted.
Although, I guess, you could say that Dumbledore is foolish enough not to ask for the vow. After all, he believes in the biggest magic of all.

Interesting setup.
I would love to read a full story with this as a start. I imagine this being the start of a sequence of events that go wrong. There are just too many places where Harry survived by either luck or Hermione.
My guess:
- In second year Ginny dies in the chamber of secrets, resurrecting Voldemort.
- In third year Sirius is kissed by a dementor. (No time-turner to go back in time)
- Etc, etc, etc

The punctuation is the most glaring thing, here. You really need to get a beta to make it better.

Otherwise, the story idea is interesting and worth delving in.

This assumes that his role is primarily a spy. Considering how he teaches its more likely that he's there to see that only slytherins are properly taught potions

Both ideas are cool I think. Would even take one of them as you suggest, but I don't think I could write either. Personally, I would prefer to continue reading the first one, kind of a reverse betrayal fiction (though not really, obviously).
Anyway, I really liked that idea. I wouldn't particularly like the love triangle thing you suggested in the AN. I don't think Harry would marry someone while loving someone else (at least not without some kind of pressure, like saving their live or whatnot), so I don't think he would marry Katie if he had feelings for Hermione. On the other hand, if he thought Hermione betrayed him, it might be possible that they are simply buried. Still, I don't think he would try to marry Hermione as well in that case, even if his feelings had resurfaced. I would prefer a hurt comfort angle, where maybe Harry starts working in this special squad equipped by Hermione (not because he was persuing her but because of some accident, or maybe he starts on a mission that is meant to help him with his horcrux problem and finds out he has fun) and Katie starts working in Hermione's lab (for one reason or another) and they come close to each other again (their families become friends) and maybe two of their children go to Hogwarts together and then Potter's and Granger's are united again (and maybe the two children marry and bring the families fully together again or something like this as the epilogue).
Sorry that this review is a bit unordered, I hope it is still understanable :D

Thank you for this wonderful fanfic, I completely agree with you this. The Hermione Granger from the first four books would never willingly betray Harry.

I think the Hermione in this story would have serious trust issues and would be very angry at being misused by everyone, add on her very canon ruthless streak... Congrats Harry and Granger parents, I think the three of you just created the next Dark Lady. Of course being Hermione she would have read the evil overlord guide book…
