Aww you definitely got the 'emotions all over the place' thing across, and I love that JJ is just persistent enough that Emily can't hide form her completely, while not pushing her too far. You definitely captured their characters well - I love the 'I invented stubborn' line :) Showing no trace of it in the morning is also very Emily. I liked this a lot :)

This is a really nice moment between the two of them and I think you captured their dynamic beautifully :)
I've always seen Emily as understanding and supporting other people's feelings in a way that she doesn't necessarily extend to herself, so to me having JJ give her a point of connection like that is a perfect way to offer reassurance.
