This is really cute! I especially loved Arthur's proposal. But it seems like that was only the very first step of Alfred's revenge. I'm looking forward to what comes next! By the way, how on earth is Alfred going to explain away the fact that his previous engagement (to a girl) is broken, and now he's engaged to marry his male boss instead? Was he always bi or is this something entirely new? Better yet, what is his real fiancee going to think? One thing's for sure -it'll definitely be interesting!

Well. I certainly enjoyed the Hollywood romantic-comedy type of dating. I imagined every detail and kept sighing dreamily. Too nice date to be out of the blue, I guess it's a date he had with the fiance he mentioned in the past chapter.
Going to Texas, huh? Seems like Arthur didn't escape it after all. I can't wait to see the reactions they get and how they get along on Alfred's field.

A Sherlock reference! And one of my favourite scenes too.
But that BigMac and large portion of French fries... and only for breakfast... Alfred sure has a large stomach. Which shouldn't surprise me.
I don't have much to say since the chapter is short, but I guess short chapters instead of long ones are refreshing. Especially if updated quickly. So keep on writing!

Alfred had better had a supply of suits because it seems he needs them. I liked the tea-proof line xD I don't think there's any tea-proof suit but who knows?
Also the 'Woah, dude! We're not that far in this 'relationship'." bit made me laugh.

1. I love that movie! I've never thought about this combination but I guess we're in for good fun.
2. Nice of Arthur to let Alfred know they're getting married XD
3. If Arthur replaces Margaret, he's just as much of a frustrating boss as she is. And just as calm. I like how unfazed he is by marrying his assistant...or pretending to. Like, you know, it's no big deal, it happens every day.
4. The plan is simple, but plan Alfred plan not going according to the plan. I'm pretty sure there'll be complications.
5. I guess Alfred feels like he just landed on another planet. Or like his boss is controlled by aliens. He'll get used to it.
6. No, not all tea is the same - not for an Englishman, anyway.

Wow I already love this! Arthur is so bitchy here, I understand Alfred's frustration with him completely (although it somehow parallels imperial!England - colonial!America era?) ! I can't wait to see how their relationship will develop from here, I bet we're in for lots of angst XD Anyway, awesome chapter, hope you post a new one soon!
