I would like to start by saying that my comments are not intended as story bashing, I like the general premise. I would like to know however, why you changed the fundamental basis of Robin. In cannon Richard was Bruce's first assistant and Bruce raised him following his parents' death. Also, I am pretty sure that Richard went straight from Robin to Nightwing, Tim Drake took the name Red Robin when Damien became Robin to Richard's Batman. I understand taking creative license, but to change something so fundamental to the character's development seems unnecessary. Nevertheless, I enjoyed what you have done so far and look forward to seeing where you take the story next. Thank you for sharing your work.

It's been a while, but I'm glad that you've finally gotten the next chapter up. I do in fact remember that episode (which was titled "Choices"), and looking back at it, I can see that having Killer Croc appear in Barbara's nightmare vision makes sense, and you made it work so well here. I like how Zatanna is now working with Batman and the Outsiders, and her going undercover at the Iceberg Lounge pretending to still be under Scarecrow's control can be pretty good for the team. The parts with Zatanna "teasing" Bruce were fine in my opinion. I also liked the appearance of Kathy and Richard as well, with Kathy lending a helping hand, and modeling this version of the Iceberg Lounge after the one from BTAS was a good idea as well, since it's one of my favorite versions. I can't wait to read what happens next, and with our heroes getting closer to finding Oracle, it looks like things are about to go down very soon. Keep up the good work and please update soon.

Wow! So much happened in this chapter, and the fact that it has such a length makes it so good. I love the way you staged the fight scenes, even though you might have found them difficult. I also liked the dilemma with Robin here, choosing his desire for justice/revenge over protecting Oracle may not have been the right move, and hopefully he'll be able to redeem himself and prove that he can be a team player. I can't wait to read what happens next, and with James Gordon now aware of his daughters secret, said daughter being held captive, and one bird of prey being freed from control, my excitement builds as we move closer and closer towards the finale. Keep up the good work and update soon.

Alas, another great chapter has arrived, and the action here is getting better and better with each post. I like how Kathy is working with Barbara and Richard, and since the threat of the Penguin is growing stronger, our heroes are going to need all the help they can get. I also liked the initial confrontation between the groups, with Dinah appearing, and it looks like things will heat up as it continues in the next chapter. I can't wait to read what happens next, and with the plot slowly starting to be revealed to our heroes, we'll see how well they do against the Birds of Prey. Keep up the good work and update soon.

After a while, it looks like another great chapter has come upon us. I like some of the reveals that you've placed in the chapter, from Kathy knowing about both Richard and Barbara's activities, and the idea of Gordon possibly discovering about what Barbara has been up to as well just makes me more anxious to see what happens if he really does. I also like the interactions between Barbara and Richard here, with Richard sharing his fears to Barbara through his hallucination (via the fear toxin), and it's good to see that the two are slowly starting to trust each other again. I can't wait to read what happens next, so update soon and keep up the great work.

Hey not sure if you do this or not, but I have a suggestion for some Beware the Batman villains:
The Terrible Trio, have them be descendants of three legendary ninja masters all with the powers of land, air and sea and have them use the powers they inherited for their ancestors to go on a crime spree and make the Batman team try and stop them.

I'm so glad that we have another lengthy chapter, which was worth the wait in my opinion. I like the introduction of Richard Dragon, who was a teacher to both Bruce and Richard, and he seems like an interesting character so far. The moments between Richard and Barbara were good as well, and I like how even though Barbara still has some tension towards him, she is starting to warm back up to him. I also like how we got to explore a few of the other teens that were kidnapped, such as Mari McCabe and Benjamin Reyes, and I'm excited to see how they will come into play once we see them again later on. I can't wait to read what happens next, and it's a good sign that the heroes are starting to come together, as they will need each other for the fight that is to come. Keep up the good work an update soon.

Glad to see another chapter has been posted, and the announcement of another chapter on the way soon is exciting. I like how you played the dynamic between Zatara and Batman at the beginning of this chapter, seeing that they both care for Zatanna and how the magician is willing to gain help from the dark knight. I also liked how we got a look at the mansion that Kathy and Richard live in (their maid "Miss Alice" was a nice little reference as well), and it's good to see that even though their feelings towards each other are still hostile, they are willing to work together so that they can both find Dinah Lance and the other kidnapped kids, and have Richard prove that he is a team player. I can't wait to read what happens next, and it looks like things are really kicking into high gear as we move closer and closer to the climax. Keep up the good work.

It's so good to know that you haven't abandoned this story yet. I like how we got to see a little bit more about some of the kids that the Strongman abducted for Penguin, especially Zatanna, who is an old friend of Bruce, which was another nice touch. I also liked how Barbara is a little irritated with being told to stick with her current assignment of watching Richard and not taking part in the rescue, it shows how much she still wants Batman to trust her even though she is already part of his inner circle of friends, and it makes me wonder how Batman will react once he finds out that Barbara went behind his back. I can't wait to read what happens next, and with the identities of some of the kidnapped kids revealed, the search is on for our band of heroes. Update soon and keep up the good work.

I knew that we would have a young version of Black Canary when we first saw Dina in the story, but to learn that she along with several others will form an alternate version of the "Birds of Prey" team is exciting. I like how you showed Barbara's detective skills here, with her taking possible evidence to find Dinah, showing how much she has grown close to Dinah even though she only talked to her a few times, and the addition of Dinah's parents was also a nice touch. I also like the look that you're going for with the Iceberg lounge, from the style of the interior, real sea lions and a real iceberg in the water, and the uniforms that the Penguins henchwoman and new "employees" wear. I can't wait to read what happens next, and with the final showdown on the horizon, how will the Outsiders deal with these super powered teens that are under the Penguins control? Will Barbara get Dinah back, and will she ever make amends with Richard? Guess we'll have to keep reading and find out. Update soon and keep up the good work.
