Yeah, no way was that going to be the Clear-Clear Fruit. Absalom has had that thing for WAY too long. Also, if he tries the same shit he did in canon with THIS Nami, Luffy will most likely leave the situation in the capable hands of his girlfriends... who, if this reaction to Sanji's "desires" is any indication, will NOT be gentle or merciful.
So, Hina and Tashigi are Straw Hats now! Was not expecting that twist, but I can roll with it. Also, the shenanigans the latter will get into with Zoro are going to be HILARIOUS. I actually kind of want those two to hijack Sanji's "wedding", now. And that's only if Nami and Vivi don't drag Luffy and Robin onto that altar first.
Eesh, poor Bellamy. Ass kicked but good and now he's left to the tender mercies of his boss. Not good.
Wow, just getting all of those revelations over and done with, aren't we? I guess this is what happens when you have someone actually SANE on the crew (it's Vivi). Still, that bell is getting rung and Luffy's gonna put Robin right in front of that stone... with Gol D. Roger's message right next to it.
Also, all of this talking about Merry's damages is making me nervous (especially since Blackbeard indirectly FUCKED THINGS UP, as he tends to do). Hopefully, she can last until Water 7, and even if she gets too damaged, I just hope they can use the tried and true method of Act of Devil Fruit to make sure Merry lives.

Luffy's ears quirked as he spun on the figurehead and then leapt down to join her on the deck, "Nami? I thought you went to bed already." His eyes widened, and his hand jerked forward to catch his pipe, "Nami?" He asked in confusion.
"We're going to train!" Nami said, determination pouring from her, "And don't you dare hold back!" She declared as she took her combat stance.
Slowly, a grin rose up on his face. He raised his pipe and vanished.
CLACK!
*And Nami Fuckin Dies, cuz luffy took that literally*

Good to see training as it justify them growing stronger. That start with Haki reasonably having two crewmates with some success as teachers. It will be very important on Sky Island as observation haki is prevalent there and more importantly Luffy fruit is not natural counter to Enel so it will be first fight harder than in canon.
Talk about proficiency with fruits was really cool and argument about Chopper great achievements are very much on the spot.
It was long time since I read canon but it looks like Straw Hats are making discoveries way faster(shadows and gold city location)
Focusing on friends is good alternative if you can't shut down observation haki.
I am among those few that are surprised with Hina and Tashigi joining Straw hats. I was expecting them to desert fully but more going independent and meeting SH way later. Still the knowledge from marines will be useful and crew got themselves Logia.
I am not sure but they advise may lead to Going Merry be in salvageable state when they reach Water 7.
I like how confrontation with Bellamy went. He was not worth Luffy effort to punch but discrepancy is strength was still very visible. Vivi saying that she is second weakest is rare type of boast where you admit your weakness. I like it. He been lose devil fruit, sucks to be him.
Luffy sensing multiple people from Blackbeard explain how he can have more than one fruit. Interesting that he tried to get high bounties, this give us nice if short fight. Radiant heat still reaching Blackbeard was nice idea. Luffy attacking surrounding to get him with AOE was clever tactic.
I really like joke about luck luck fruit.
I like everything around Sanji getting DF. How he suspect fruit power (only one he was interested in) and how he was wrong. Joke with him forcing himself to eat one because of his respect for food. Form definitely fit his fighting style, it will be nice to see it in action.
Presentation of bounties was fun, they jump quit a lot like they said at the beginning. Funny how people treat it as power levels while in reality it is measure of how much government wants to get rid of you.
I am happy to hear that other guys will also get girlfriends. Zoro and Tashigi paring have such potential that I would be disappointed if she was with somebody else.

Well a lot certainly happened here! I definitely wasn’t expecting Sanji to get a zoan devil fruit. As for the arrival of Hina and Tashigi, if you decide to have them permanently join the crew I could get sued to it, though I personally still think the Revolutionary Army would still be the best place for them as it would allow them to continue pursuing true justice by dismantling corrupt kingdoms and brining aide to the people alongside Sabo and Koala.

Definitely enjoyed the chapter it was awesome and nice to finally see tashigi and hina be part of luffys crew there's not many stories where they are paired up together also just a thought that came to me while reading the chapter have Hina and tashigi watch luffy and his girlfriend's go at it so they have a better understanding of why they love him so much and what he can do and get there reactions as they watch also could you have Hina and uta be part of luffys hearm also have uta be part of luffys crew as well and tashigi should train with zoro they both be great training partners since they both use swords for fighting but she definitely has to earn it if she wants to know some of zoros skills that she can learn from him to improve herself as a swords woman

This was a very fun chapter, thank you so much! i had a bunch of thoughts while reading, and I had to look up that smoking-raptor to see what it was like, but yeah that'd be damn cool lol. Your author's note reminded me of the EXACT same thought I had when Tashigi stole Zoro's sword though lol. I agree, that'd be a truly hilarious gag. Like maybe eventually he starts having to carry 4 swords because she keeps stealing one of his every time combat starts? I ship the two of them so hard.
Oh! Oh! But the best part was having an educated, sane, member of their crew early lmao. Hina being there and being able to spot details gives me great hope for Merry. Please ensure that Merry survives! The OP manga had numerous emotional moments, but Merry's viking funeral still stands out as one of the most moving and tragic. Save Merry!
