Interesting chapter. I was actually expecting Ginny to be consuming love potion already but you definitely caught me off guard with that whole hate potion. Now I'm truly wondering who this sparring partner is though I do have 1or 2 guesses already but let's see if you can surprise me once again. Another thing I'm wondering about is the conversation between the Greengrass family and Harry and his time travel and when Hermione will find out. So please update soon.

I'm not a Ginny fan for the most part, but I enjoyed the chapter. I could certainly see there at the beginning the sheltered, lonely girl who would so easily fall under the influence of a possessed book. She's not that person anymore. Her mother fall over dead if she realized what her precious daughter has become.

Excellent update, though still not a Ginny fan she has moved away from being Fan Girl, just a little Disappointed with the small amount of time spent on Hermione

And Karma (in the form of Harry) hits John for being a douchbag in his last two tries (even if won't remember the second).
I hope you had them develop some Howler Buster magic/potion/tool to fend of Molly's rants and save their eardrums when Ginny ends up in Slytherin:).
This story is pretty enjoyable. I'm just curious if you will show his other conquests (i think Luna is left at the minimum) or show some of his other preperations.
I almost can't wait for the trainwrech that will be John and Dumbledore trying to work against this Harry. And the confusion when John can't figure out what is happening with all those changes:)
