I actually didn't like or dislike this beginning chapter but i do have some issues with it
Let's start with the good and bad parts
Bad:
Cliché title
Spelling errors in the first chapter are usually sign of either being new to writing or simply being too Lazy to either fix them later or to spell check them.
Mixing english and japanese, i like a lot of people really dislike that
Not in the crossover section even though there is a crossover
Good:
Unique concept for the mass effect archive
I like fiction adaptation
It isn't the usual "OC is a twin of Shephard" fic or some shit like that because in this fic the oc would be 83 when canon starts, i might have fucked up my math though.
The name of the OC isn't something ridiculous like some fics have
But seriously either spell check it yourself or get someone else to do it for you. spelling errors tend to scare readers away

The story is good. But the author constantly miss uses the word (you) and variations of the word (you). If the author fixed this issue alone more than half grammar mistakes would be fixed. He constantly uses the word (you) in reference to himself witch is just bad grammar.

Managed to work through reading this chapter, but the spelling made it painful. Almost quit in the first couple of paragraphs because of putting spaces in the middle of words with apostrophes, failing to capitalize I, and generally screwing up punctuation and easy words. *Actually* quit because you included that bloody Fiction Adaptation rubbish.

Looks like this fanfic is doomed already, they always turn out shit when a writer starts adding references to other anime/movies and by that I don't mean abilities, I mean the cringey references to well known characters and their characteristics. And the instant meeting of the future lover just further proves it.
