I love this chapter a lot. The dislike and the attraction is very fun to read. Both of them seem very conflicted. I am very much looking forward to more Ron/Hermione interaction in the next few chapters.

Holy Merlin! That was so so mean and brutal! A true Slytherin. I wonder how long Ron can keep the hate boiling inside now that he has to interact with her everyday. You have set this up perfectly and I for one am dying to see how things slowly change. Bravo.

Ugh, what a bitch! But I have a sneaky suspicion that Hermione is one of those people who can't try to attract another without getting her own emotions involved. But I can see why Ron doesn't trust her, or himself. Good chapter.

Wow - that was a Slytherin Hermione. It makes Ron's cruelty to her more understandable. The thing is it seems like she went out of her way to be mean and cruel about Ron - perhaps a case of protesting too much. I bet Dumbledore knew about this since he always seems to know about everything that goes on at Hogwarts.

So didnt think yiu where going to reveal what happened between Hermione and Ron so soon! And also was expecting something a little more evil or or sinister with magic or something but i have to say that was PERFECT i mean such a simple plot line of love and betrayal and lies leading to heart break is so realistic. Someone playing with anothers heart is what really can lead to such hate.

Oh man, that was absolutely brutal. I was curious to see if this Slytherin Hermione was going to have a cruel streak or not. We clearly have our answer now. Hell even Daphne was trying to point out the positives in Ron while Hermione was just tearing everything about him down. Ron is definitely justified in his hatred for her.
I suspect that Hermione was trying to convince herself as much as she was trying to convince Daphne everything she was saying about Ron. That just maybe the plan was starting to work both ways. That would definitely cause Hermione to be angry with herself and fuel the cruelty she openly displayed. Maybe I'm just reaching, but that initial "face lit up for a moment" seems to be more a natural reaction, than a planned mask.
Either way this was an amazingly cruel chapter. For a moment I thought Ron should just forget Hermione and take a shot with Daphne.

OMFG...chapter 5 was something else! solid back story. You have an epic story here. God I just wish you could update like 10 times in a day. This story is unputdownable. I repeat again WFD was very good( I commented as guest previously) but this thing IMHO is turning out to be even better. Kudos and cheers to you author. Keep up the great work.

I really like where this story is going. Even more scenes with Ron and Hermione will be great as they very slowly start to fall for one another. I wonder who will develop feelings, either romantic or lustful first.
