This is one of the most interesting kaze fanfics i've read. This is the second time i read it and this time i have to confess that i've skipped the first chapters were zero is in "The House". I really didn't feel like going through that a seond time. So I started from when Kaname finds him.
I find it sad that is hasn't been updated in so long and maybe it has been dropped? And more so at this point in the story were the relationship between Zero and Kaname seemed to be about to upgrade a bit for the better. It is one of the few fics I've read were Zero and kaname could or were in the way to build up a proper understanding/frinendship/relationship without it being forced by a stupid blood bond or just lust for a starting point.
After all the drama Zero has gone through, it seemed the right moment to be able to enjoy a bit of peace for zero and see him build himself into what he, for once, chooses to become, taking into account the limitations of his circumstances.
I miss bit the fact that Kaname doesn't seem to be the ancestor awakened by Rido, but it is interesting to see the prespective of a young pureblood who, for the most part, was raised without the guidance of his pureblood parents or any other pureblood to learn from. It is quite fun seeing him struggle with himself for once. I really like what you have done with the both of them and their emotions.
I hope the inspiration for this story comes back to you at some point, and you are able to finish it. It really is interesting. But anyway, thanks for writing and sharing this story until here. ;)

I was led into a false sense of safety for Zero at the start then bam! My poor Zero suffered so much! I didn't want him to be raped :(
I kept thinking why don't you fight back but his psychology would of been targeted by that bastard. Good thing he died. But what happens to the place now?
Kaname, you're gonna have to learn what happened to Zero to understand his aversion to sexual things, if you want to bed him. Hopefully Kaname will heal Zero and not make it worse. Though, I'm sure Kaname will not be happy with those who hurt Zero
I hope they start getting along better.
Kaname is struggling but he is trying Zero, please acknowledge it when the time comes.
I'm glad Zero is becoming more confident and voicing out his thoughts and isn't isolated anymore.
I wonder what Shizuka has installed and if Rido is going to be part of the story.

Another great chapter. The fight scene was interesting. I’m a little confused about the familiar though, is it just that no one else has seen it, like it stays in places only zero can see it, or is it invisible to everyone else? I’m assuming it’s the first one, that makes the most sense.

What a way , a sight to wake up to . I understand Zero's mixed feelings about the wolf though , being watched and all . It must be suffocating to have someone monitor your every move , force you to feel things , and invade your privacy . Zero's thoughts regarding the letter were funny ( the of course ..of course .. thing ) I also especially liked the delusional optimist part . the scene when Kaien talked about familiars was enjoyable too and rewarding for the story . But What I gotta salute you for is the training session and the ideas you incorporated into it , the object take and keep , the attack strategy instead of running in circles , zero's plan to make use of the dark , the sequence of their movements , the scenario , the whole scheming of this session demands respect actually .

Holy hellcats. I almost forgot about this awesome fic. A very interesting chapter, its the first time anyone has depicted how close Kaname is to Takuma as friends and I loved his realistic uncertainty about opening up to him because of his status.
Please try to update a little sooner this time, I hate bein left with a suffering Zero. (Tries to pet Zeros hair but gets growled at by the big bad wolf (T-T)

OMG OMG OMFG you updated! It was such a huge surprise, and such an incredibly pleasant one! You have no idea how much you made my morning here! I wanted to read the update right away, but decided to refresh my memory by reading a couple of previous chapters, so it took me some time to get here, but it was all worth it *nods*
Anyway. I LOVED every moment and every word of this chapter! Your writing is wonderful as always, the flow is smooth and characters are well-written, same as everything else.
Muffufu~ I loooved that little loss of control on Kaname-sama's part. It was freaking delicious x9 Not the best move if you think about winning Zero-chan over, but damn, it was sooo good, and Zero-chan's reaction was just too sinfully irresistible x9 And it's really nice to see Kaname-sama lose control once in a while because of his beloved xD
Kaname-sama confiding in Takuma was great too! Cute even, considering how flushed Kaname-sama was there xD I'm glad he decided to ask Takuma's opinion, I believe it will help him. It already seems to have helped and given Kaname-sama something to think about *nods*
Awww and that part with Kaname-sama's familiar was just so sweet and cute and beautiful! You can call it one of my dream settings, so thank you for writing it, and so beautifully too! :D

This is a wonderful story. I really like it that you have spent time building up Kaname and Zero's relationship and there's still more to go. Too bad this hasn't been updated for so long because I'd like to read more. You have done a great job with Zero's personality and I enjoy reading about his reactions to becoming a vampire and with Kaname. Hopefully, you'll keep going with this story.
