I don't know much about Evangelion- learned the plot from cultural osmosis - but placing Shinji in Campione sounds interesting. He's more interesting post story than durring it; seeing him recover from the trauma of the Angel war is interesting and theraputic in a way. Also good to see him
Also, looking forward to see when he encounters the other people he knows from his world, Mainly Rei and Asuka. I kinda want Gendo to be reborn in the world as well: if only so Shinji could punch him down into the dirt for the crap he put him through in his first life. food for thought :}

please update soon. I love the fact you gave shinji The Lance and Angel powers/Authorities and like that he is showing more emotions. I would find it interesting if he were to manifest or make armor similar to unit 01
