Just In
for Cassio's Diary

Poor, poor Cassio: so deluded, at this point in time, regarding Iago's true nature. I will say, though, that Iago actually DID know how easily 'the devil of drink (was) awakened' in Cassio, because he himself told him ("I have drunk but one cup tonight, and behold what innovation it makes here! I am unfortunate in the infirmity and dare not task my weakness with any more."), but...well, details. :) You captured Cassio's sense of self-loathing and self-pity (for having made such a fool of himself as to be stripped of his somewhat unearned place) very well, as well as his enduring gratitude to Iago for sticking up for him (despite the fact that said support was a bit long in coming). I liked the return to optimism near the end, as well as the way it spoke to how deeply dependent upon Desdemona Cassio actually is for his place. All in all, all things considered, fantastic! ;D
