This is actually amazing because I’ve been looking for something that’s actually accurate for aaaaaages! This is one of the best minerva fanfics I’ve read bcs most of them ship her and Dumbledore which is crazy bcs they’re like 50 years apart. But there’s one part int his chapter that I don’t get; what’s a virgin and why does she say what are you implying? I’m confused

I enjoyed learning about st andrews day! Thanks for sharing this bit of british culture with us :-) I always like when HP fanfic authors put british culture in it, I mean it is Harry potter afterall! It should reflect the cultures of ireland, scotland and england!
Have a great day :D

Loved this little story and would like more about the young Minerva .

The idea was a very good one. Of course Minerva at the age of 18 would be different from Minerva at the age of - whatever age she was in the books. I did see you put some of her personality into her younger self, that was nice. I don't think her father was too ridiculous or extreme, at all, and I liked the remark about her father being suspicious of magic, but how it still all worked out well, between him and his wife and their family, because he loved them all very much. That was really sweet.

I was a bit bothered by the changing of tenses in the story, between the present and the past. But it wasn't too bad. Overall, I enjoyed this story.

I think this was an interesting idea (although I'm a little dubious about how extreme her father seems to be... it's sort of important to keep him from being ridiculous), and although Minerva seems very OOC, that isn't too much of a problem as this is happening sixty-some years earlier than when we first meet her. I also spotted a few grammatical errors but overall it came around pretty well. And what do you know, I'm Catholic too!
