Holy sweet Jesus' foreskin, you've done it again: Another awesome piece of work! I'm so excited!
(Cough) now that I've got that out of my system, to the review!
1) Something that confused me here was the layout of the Asari ship: why is the research lab "down the hall" from the mess room? It's not that much of a big deal, just had me scratching my head. Maybe Asari researchers just like to have snacks often?
2) When Joker fired on the hanger bay doors, why didn't the Asari ship's shields block the shot, were the shields turned off? Also, why didn't the whole bay decompress when the doors were blown open? A force-field to keep the air in?
3) A small detail I just thought of (that I'm confident you'll explain in the next chapter), where's Cortana? When chief went into cryo, didn't he put her in the holo pedestal? EDI said something's blocking her (is EDI a her?), and the only thing I can think of that can stop EDI is Cortana. Did The Chief not remove her from his helmet when he went to sleep, or did The Chief just find her somewhere?
4) I'm curious how you'll introduce the Master Chief to Shepard and her crew withought him just straight up murdering them all. I mean, let's be realistic here, this is the guy that can dodge bullets and bitch-slapped an anti-tank, air to ground missile, I'm pretty sure Shepard and crew wouldn't be able to win a fight with him. So that leaves diplomacy... Good luck with that. 30 year war with aliens, go to sleep, wake up surrounded by aliens who shoot at him, then another group composed of a bunch of different aliens and one red-headed human turn up. I can't really see The Chief treating Shepard any differently than the Turians and Asari. I'm interested to see how you'll do this.
But please please please, I'm begging you, don't be lazy and just have a biotic trap The Chief with a "stasis" and then have a nice chat. Most biotics have trouble lifting 100kg, with stronger biotics like Krogan battle masters (with centuries of experience) lifting around 300kg of weight. The Chief can flip a 6000kg Scorpion tank. I can say with confidence that most biotics wouldn't have much of an effect on him due to his bulk/mass, speed and raw strength.
Hmm, I'm rambling, I guess details like this are up to you, really.
4) What armour is The Chief wearing? His Halo 3 version? Halo 4s appearance? Or Halo 5 Guardians with the Spartan abilities?
And that's it, no spelling errors that I could see, your wrighting quality is top-notch and I eagerly await for the next chapter!

This is good, really good. If the story continues at this level you could have one of the best, if not the best story in this catagory, in my opinion.

Looks good. Not many mistakes from what I can see so far. Somewhat similar/different intro to the story. Intriguing as well. Can't wait for more and keep it up!
