I just love how you captured everyone's personalities here! It's nice how Anakin learns a lesson on his own and grows up a little, but with Obi-wan and Padme supporting him. And Obi-wan and Lars family bonding is always a plus. Yeah this was great!

Its 8 am and I should be sleeping but my god this story was so good! I particularly enjoyed the interactions between Obi-Wan and Anikin the different emotions going through Anikin and Obi-Wan's reactions felt very real and in character to me

Very nice, and plausible alt. What Obi-Wan was doing was not as earth shattering. And Anakin explicitly acknowleging the familial relation was a cherry on top. Good job.

I really loved this. The relationship between Obi and Anakin was so sweet. I love those two and you write them so spectaculary. And the conversation with Padme was perfect. The ending was great too.

Absolutely beautiful. I can't believe this doesn't have more notes. Or favorites, or reviews, or whatever. You know what I mean. And hey, maybe in this AU Obi-Wan doesn't get caught on Geonosis, and the war, if it still happens, doesn't begin with the death of a bunch of Jedi as they try and rescue him. That's a nice thought, anyway.

You're right, most stories that prevent Anakin from turning, or try to, begin in RotS, and he's probably a lot further down the path then, after this first atrocity and then three years of brutal war. And even though the Sand People were rather savage in what they did to his mother, they were still people, and he killed them. And I feel like a lot of people forget that, or want to, or just gloss over it.
I also like your mentioning the code. I like the old code. Everything is about balance, after all, right? Not denial. Makes a lot more sense to me.
