I do like stories where the Dursleys wise up. You have a type; the bank has a 'lean' on the Malfoy properties not as it should be a 'lien'
By the way the first chapter has a weird excursion into the first person which I am glad you have not continued. I don't think it works for Harry Potter stories unless couched in the form of a diary or letters
