This is so lovely, and the ending (especially the bit about Splinter getting a new blanket, and Leo being happy about Raph wanting to spend time with him) was so wonderful. Thank you so very much for writing and sharing!

"Fearless gave up everything for his family." -Love that line. I love that this was pure fluff with no real signs of danger. It couldn't be any cuter.

Do you know how many times I re-read this story? Today at least three times. I have an exam tomorrow, but this story pulls me towards it every three hours ir so. And in between I picture the embrace between Fearless and the Hothead. I just love brotherly fluff.
Amazing story, by the way, it represents the Christmas spirit, totally.
I agree with you on this. Leo is the toughest turtle to shop for. He is so unpredictable and little too much closed against his brothers, always guarding them and their wishes, doing the impossible to keep them safe and sound and almost never having a time just for himself. I just wonder what they were like as babies and toddlers. I'm guessing Leo and Raph were best friends and sworn protectors of their family. I could spend whole day reading about them and I wouldn't tire at all.
I loved the aspect of Karai giving Raph a present for Leo. They do look like indeed. The sense of honor, and Karai's nature that at ths end, ended up tainted by Shredder's hatred and the wish for a revenge. But I liked the ep from s5 when she helped them defeat the Demon Shredder. She had something good inside...
I also liked the moment between Raph and the kid. He really is fond of kids and he knows how to with them. That makes me wondering, if he were a real character, a human even, how would he look like with a family of his own. A wife and a little girl or boy beside him, walking the streets of NYC.
It's good to know that people still have something good in them. It was great when those two men gave Raph the comics and the blanket. I can understand Raph. Me and my family have been through several financial crisis and it's been tough to want to buy something, but you don't have the money for it.
And the last scene, awwwwww I melted.
Beautiful story indeed. Might as well read it again.
