I really enjoyed this story. It's a surprisingly deep, smart stream-of-consciousness for Edward. I like the religious aspects of it (which can be a tricky subject, but I think you handle them well), and it's also intriguing that Carlisle, the seemingly perfect family patriarch, comes off as a kinda dark figure here. Wonderful work.

Good story; well-written. Edward is very much in character. My only quibble is that if this story is meant to be canon, Rosalie shouldn't be mentioned. She didn't join the Cullens until 2 years after Edward returned from his wanderings, by which time he'd been a vampire for 15 years instead of just over a decade.
