So I was going to write a review saying that being from Portugal all the talk about American football really was Chinese to me, like during the game description if it weren't for thee comments about how distracted Alfred was and the scores I wouldn't know how the game was going.
But all that was forgotten with the end of the chapter, I read your other stories so I know what's gonna happen, it's sad how his last game went só badly, what a awful way to end a career.
I'm so excited to finally see not only how Arthur escapes from the hospital and gets to Alfred but also how their relationship is going to progress!
I really like what you're doing with this story and I can't wait for the next chapter! XD

Oh my gosh, this cliffhanger IS TOO MUCH TO TAKE. That flashback was so adorable, and then reading what happened in the present timeline right after gave me emotional whiplash. Someone help Alfred, someone help ME after reading that, I did NOT see it coming. I really hope Alfred comes out okay. I'm glad you're dealing with his obsession with Arthur, and I hope he can learn to prioritize his needs in a healthy way. I saw that snippet you shared on Tumblr, and now my heart is REALLY not prepared for whatever you have in store. I am so worried for these boys.
For real, you are such a talented writer. I can perfectly imagine all of the scenes and action sequences you create with your words, and I love how you tie things together in such interesting ways. Like creatively relating a flashback to the present, or how Alfred's tendency to make promises he can't keep came back to bite him in the butt. Also, if I haven't mentioned it before, your characterization of these two is so so good. Thank you for another chapter! I appreciate every one.

Aaaaaah, we hit an up in the last chapter and now it's time for a down. I'm glad you're not romanticizing Arthur's mental illness. His condition is very serious, and the gravity of Matthew's words are reflective to what it's probably like in real life. It's so sad that Alfred has to leave on that note as his football season begins. I hope he can keep it together enough to perform during the season. And hopefully Arthur recovers from the worst of the effects of switching medications. This chapter really hit me after I'd finished reading everything. I literally had to stare into space for a few minutes just to process everything, and damn I'm still thinking about it. I seriously love your characterization of both characters, and I just want the best for them. Thank you so much for another chapter! I really enjoy reading each one.
