I so love your writing and I am incredibly grateful for these recent chapters. I reread the whole thing from the start when I saw the updates and I think I'm about to binge-read all your other fics, starting from the ones in this universe. This chapter was so wonderfully romantic and raw that there was a literal throb in my chest as I read it.

Oh gosh, this chapter was so bittersweet (but mostly sweet I would say). I love how you tie in the flashbacks with the present timeline. Now that it's drawing closer to football season, I'm pretty worried about how things will go. They're both in a really sensitive position right now, and soon Alfred probably won't have as much time to see Arthur. I'm very eager to see how things will turn out. Also, I don't know if you intended this, but the last sentences of this chapter made me a bit nervous. Alfred just broke his promise that he would only be a friend to Arthur while he was working on getting better, and he was about to make another promise he wouldn't be able to keep either (never speaking about his romantic feelings again). On a smaller scale, in the flashback, he promised prom would be a good time for Arthur, and that wasn't true either. I don't know if I'm looking too much into it or what, but I am sensing that something bad might happen in the future. Whichever route you go, I'm looking forward to everything you have in store for these two! Thanks so much for another wonderful chapter!

Oh. That's ... heavy. Incredibly so. I sincerely thank you for this work. We need more stuff like this because it's not something we discuss all that often when we probably should. I hope you aren't this good through personal experience but rather extensive research. Can't vouch for accuracy of your descriptions (thankfully), but they certainly leave an impression. It's just so sad. To think of what some people could achieve without being hindered by "fate".
I think it's an interesting thing to think about. Paradoxical too. Without those difficulties we rarely push ourselves to try and be something more than what we are, that is while we have the tools to try. (Majority of people in my experience anyway.) And then life can kick you in the whatever vital region you cherish most and that's how we learn to be decent human beings and to consider the what-could-have-been's more.

I'm rooting for Arthur to conquer his issues even more than I'm rooting for him to get together with Alfred (and trust me, I'm rooting for that a lot). What else to say about this chapter? I enjoyed the addition of Arthur's brothers, and I want to see how they will help and/or hinder his treatment. As always, I anticipate your next chapter and hope your love of writing never leaves you. :)

ooh, this chapter's really good! I like how all of these are connected, so I can actually probably figure out which chapter of, what I assume is "The King & I" is this chapter also occuring in. Can't wait for more!

I just found this today and, I really like this story. I love the characterizations of both Alfred and Arthur, and I feel really bad for Arthur. The way you describe his illness is so sad and miserable, and I would expect no less from something as serious as schizophrenia. I look forward to seeing what else you have in store for these two, and thank you so much for your excellent writing!

I really love this chapter, even if you don't think it's your best. I understand losing work and then losing motovatiom to write it all over again. But rest assured, I believe what you put out will be awesome because you don't seem like the kind of person to half- ass things. Take care!
