OMG, who gave you the right to make me cry?
This is just perfect! Loved it! Please do more of this!

I hope the story doesn't end this way in game either. This is quite a sad little story. :-(

Bilbo wished the rock had hit him harder, that instead of only being knocked out long enough that he was rendered helpless to save her, instead of being left here alone in this cold, dark world without his fiancé, that he could be with her in the West, the land of light and laughter. But that was not to be. He barely heard Kili's tale, he was so blinded by grief. He didn't remember Thorin's death, didn't remember any of it. He saw her in the gems of Erebor, the mountain kingdom whose reclaiming meant nothing to him now, he saw her in the acorn resting on his palm, the one she had given him. He saw her, in the flowers in Beorn's garden, the ones he had given her, when he proposed. All the way home he only regretted ever coming on the journey, and dreaded having to tell Lavinia's family upon his return that their daughter, the girl who had so bravely gone along on this quest to keep -him- safe was never coming home.
...never, coming home...
