Luffy beating Mihawk in base form…is so damn doubtful it isn’t even funny. Especially with the fact Mihawk is more experienced, uses slashing attacks(not blunt or gun attacks), meaning Luffy is vulnerable, likely has a greater Haki, is considered the World’s Strongest, and is equal to an Emperor(Shanks) by being his rival. Luffy, while damn powerful, is only able to achieve victories against enemies like that with the help of several groups and his crew, all while going all out. Luffy kicking Mihawk’s ass in base form alone? I doubt it. And that whole “brother I never had” flashback? That is one of the most cliche things in not even just movie history, It’s the sort of thing people would parody as a way to make fun of it. At this point, I realize I’m being rude and condescending, and I apologize for that, but still…

Alright, Luffy is kinda gross in an emotional sense. Nami isn’t *his* Nami. It’s a Nami, but not the Nami that he has a bond with. She doesn’t even know him. Hopefully he doesn’t force his one-sided love onto her. Also, Raftel…wasn’t it called Laugh Tale? And even if not, why isn’t anybody questioning how Luffy knows that name or how to do all these things or anything like that? They’re kinda just…rolling with it? Odd.

The fic is nice and all, but isn’t Luffy kind of extra OOC? He has the sort of personality now that makes me genuinely believe he’d wax poetry if he so felt like it. Like, I can definitely understand OOC, he lost his entire crew so he’d clearly be depressed, but here he’s also extra fancy for some reason? I believe in the previous chapter he said that he was only a shell of his former self, and he’s definitely not wrong..oh well, I’ll keep reading nonetheless.

wow, i didn't know about the rewrite. but nice to see how Luffy answered to Arlong hatred and showed him that he became as bad as the people he hates.
Sure what he went through was awful but everyone understand that it is not an excuse for what he did.

then i guess this is the end. it's been a fun read. i loved the character interactions especially the one's between luffy and the antagonists.
but i don't like op mc's, especially not for one piece. luffy pummelling mihawk put the final nail in the coffin.
the part i disliked the most is the genderbend crew. i absolutely detest horny luffy. the mere thought of luffy getting in a intimate relationship with the previous "male" strawhats makes me sick.
also the fact that this is a timetravel story, and almost nothing changed makes it feel like I'm reading a recap version of the original story.
and thats that. i don't regret reading this, but i will regret it if i continue.
