This was really nice! I'm sort of on the fence about Clyde and Prentiss being former lovers, but that last line tightened the whole story for me. I could see it in this story.
Also, that last line could be a story into itself. Hehe.
On another note: I just came back to the CM fandom when I found out Paget came back because I adore that woman, been following her ever since she appeared on CM. Thank you for the rec to that documentary. I just saw a bit of it on Instagram and I was so sad to hear what happened to her. I'm going to watch all of it for sure. The other actresses are super interesting too!
