Gah I'm so excited to see you back to writing! I loved this so much- Remus, being so polite but knowing when to fight back a little, and Snape, being his normal scheming, bitter self. The dialogue was spot on! I also loved the clutter of Remus's new home :) your writing has essentially become part of my HP canon, so I can't wait to read more, whether the updates are rewrites or new chapters!

I love this...Remus is so remus, polite to a fault even as he defends himself. And Snape, god Snape, I could so totally see him looking for Remus in the early morning hours in an urge to throw him off balance.
I love how Snape and Remus bantered back and forth. Their relationship interested me in the books. Because Remus was the only one, that Snape was "half-way" polite to out of the Marauders.
And I love the description of Remus' housing. It sounds so much more cozy than what I know he had to deal with throughout the rest of his life until he meet Tonks.
Thank you for this wonderful story, I can only wait impatiently for what you'll write next, be it a new story or a rewrite.
