Always good to see another Manhattan fix, although it still breaks my heart every time that River and the Doctor couldn't even mourn together.
I liked your opening lines where River was prepared for the Doctor going all Time Lord Victorious on her, even if he didn't. Fighting for Amy's right to choose is very much something River would do - she's had so little choice in her own early life that she would support her mother's even it means a separation.
