There are so many things I loved about this story. From the lesser known characters given the chance to shine to the strength and realism in various characters’ reactions to trauma. I just finished reading this story and I cannot stop crying! This was so good. This has surpassed many fanfics that jbhave loved for years. Brilliant! And while i always wish for stories to continue, the ending was perfect.

A common complaint I received while writing this story was that I made Hermione too emotional and that she cried too much. “She never cried this much in the books or the movies!” So annoyed was I with hearing this, I actually took the time to reread all seven books and wrote down every single instance where a very unobservant Harry noticed her crying. There were 71. Maybe even a few I missed.
