Or it was a "Rowling inconsistency" again. Like life in Azkaban for using Unforgivables. For Draco Malfoy, for example, who used all three of them in the sixth book.

"ten elves popped into the room" (adding Kreacher would have been eleven) became "he didn't need eleven elves, twelve if Dobby came back". Dobby was one of the "ten elves (that) popped into the room". Yeah, I know. I'm nit-picking, LOL.

This is fun to read again. My head canon for this is that they nailed Dumbledore to the wall for all of the stuff that he's left out of the education system and get him fired and made inconsequential, no longer important to the world. Harry continues to study at home with his tutors and gets even more owls and newts than Hermione.

I enjoyed this story. It really threw in to focus a lot that I thought strange from the books. Why the goblins, the DoM or a curse breaker weren't consulted about the horcruxes. Why nobody else could help Harry with occlumency. Dumbledore's death and not telling anybody anything just made things harder than they should of been.

Yet another thing in the books that always puzzled me. Why Harry didn't get any help from the staff for his hand. Regardless of what position umbrage held, it is still an instrument of torture.
