I think Dipper is so sad and mopey because he’ll miss Pacifica. You can tell by his dialogue and expression within this chapter.
I loved the heartfelt moments with all the characters. This isn’t goodbye, it’s more like I’ll see you soon. Type of scene.

Quite a heavy and emotional chapter.
If I had anything negative at all to say about this fanfic, it’s that I feel like Stan is a little out of character. Every other character is written perfectly, but Stand stands out to me as being, like, too grouchy and when he interacts with the kids, it seems like he doesn’t actually…like them.
I hate to have anything negative to say about your work because it’s all so beautifully written, but it’s a thought I’ve had in the back of my head for quite some time. It doesn’t detract from my enjoyment of the story, though.

Dang, 14 and jumping right into the deep stuff. He'd certainly fit in with r/I'mFourteenAndThisIsDeep, heheheh. But seriously, Dipper's always been pretty mature in his thoughts (with certain exceptions) and these things are a great example/test of this, an excellent moment of character growth (literally and literarily) cumulated from his relationship with Pacifica and experience with the more adult (in the age sense) themes of life's circumstances he's going through.

Dang, and now the main trio of characters have been shipped off in a bus, how will the secondary cast continue the show? Will Soos, Wendie and Melody fill their place? Will this become a good scientist/bad scientist brother duo investigation series? Stay tuned and find out, in the next season of:

Damn I love this fic, every time I see a new chapter has come out, it really brightens my day.
Loved the chapter, it hit a really good mix of bittersweet, because we know that these characters are gonna keep growing up, and gonna keep coming back to this place and these people that they love. It just really fills you with a wholesome warmth.
Tho, I am wondering whether you will end it here, or have more stories to tell. While this would be a perfectly good place to end the fic, I of course hope for a third book in the series, and will continue reading giddily.
Either way, an author note would be nice, because the not knowing is agony!
In the case that you are ending it here, and choose to write something else, I would also be excited about that, since what you made here is probably the best fic in the whole fandom, and a new work from you would no doubt be a good read.
