My mate I've watched this anime 3 times but I always wanted to see kayo and satoru together. I never. Wanted airi to be with him as I see them only as a friend. But there are some flaws in your oneshot like i think that we should change the time period of the coma from 15yrs to 10yrs i guess that would properly fit in as hiromi and kayo wouldn't have been married if it was a 10yrs and that completely the mangaka's fault even though the story was legendary if it had this ending i'm sure It would have been a masterpiece

Thank you for a good ending to the anime. Unlike in the manga, the whole focus was on Kayo Hinazuki. And it was a shame that they didn't end up together in the end. Your story fit my headcanon well and became part of it. Now I can move on to another anime with peace of mind.

this is what i call a amazing oneshot it is long enough to tell a proper story and the writing was great i personally liked it a lot and would recommend to others that liked the show but weren't happy how it ended
