Ι think the thing I love the most in the stories you both showcase so perfectly - apart from Natsu's protective side - is how strong is Lucy's character. It really parallels (see what I did there? :P) how she is the heart of Fairy Tail in canon and one of the few people that helps the whole group be the best part of themselves.

I know this story has long been completed, but still, I can't keep my mind from racing towards all the possibilities...
The council for sure stinks (that doctor was creepy). The fact that Natsu is clearly also a dragonslayer may mean that Zeref managed to get him back after he was trained by Igneel (and maybe killed Igneel in the process)? And he was forced to do awful things and thus retreated in his mind as Lucy seems to think here.
The secret that Metalicana told Gajeel will most probably reveal a lot of things. Levy hasn't been seens since Cana's "attack", seems fishy. Fairy Tail's inside people may as well be her, or Gray or Juvia or all of them. The hints have been dropped for all 3 of them but they are vague yet.
On to the next chapter, my curiosity is peeked and I can't stop reading.

I'm not sure i can get past the part where some members of fairytail including lucy are NOT in fairytail side even for several chapters until the story take a turn.
