She raised an eyebrow. "What do you want me to do, close my eyes and stick out my tongue? I am imbuing it."

I couldn't turn it off even if I tried," he confessed quietly. "I know I sometimes treat it lightly, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable, but my regard for you is completely serious, Harry."
-this is officially the best 'confession' of this sort I've ever read/heard. Leo is so kind and respectful. Usually these kinds of things make me feel cringe-y because they're so like... They put so much pressure on the other person right? But Leo, he's just being honest about something that's always been a known aspect to their interactions, doesn't try to force anything new, and makes it clear that she shouldn't be worried about coming back. And "my regard for you is completely serious, Harry." ~~ my hearrrt. I love the wording you used so much too, it's just perfection. Because I feel like it's perfect for their relationship too, like Leo doesn't just 'like' her or 'fancy' her, their relationship has so much respect and care built in that I feel like 'regard' is the most absolutely perfect word. Am I overthinking this? Possibly, but it just makes me feel so many things.

-'I'll say it to his face' as if she hasn't already told him to keep his meddling out of Hogwarts, and that he's so inept at long term planning that he should just refrain from the activity. Her friends were alarmed when they heard her say *this*: they don't know how much worse it could've been haha. I think it's so interesting seeing how she's having an increasingly hard time sitting quietly and hiding her opinions, like seeing the character growth and change is so exciting.
Pansy bumped her admonishingly. "You can't hide behind that contract forever, Rigel. It's perfectly obvious you have no intention of marrying your cousin." / "Only to someone as brilliant and socially accomplished as you, dear Pansy." At least, Rigel hoped it wasn't that obvious to anyone else.
-okay, yes Rigel we hope this isn't obvious to eeeveryone but God I really hope that it's so obvious to Leo that when he heard about it (like immediately after it was signed because Leo Knows things), he figured out the motive, and discarded the engagement as irrelevant like immediately after.

Oh boy... I just had a dream in which I was Harry and I think my class had a substitution teacher or something like that. We had to do several work stations and then she said we should write words with three letters and she checked how legible our writing was because that was somehow very important for potions. And somehow I did best and she asked me about my future plans and I smiled and said "Potions". I even spoke English. Like it was my mother tongue. I think I stopped thinking about Harry Potter in German a while ago.
Again: I very much thank you for this story, I love it and I'm waiting desperately for the continuation:)

That whole scene with Harry telling her dad that Caelum is coming round to their house is so funny. I love when Harry phrases things specifically to mess with her dad. I wonder if Harry will teach Leo to shaped imbue! Cos he has good magical control I think, and even if he didn't put too much time into it (cos our boy has other things to be doing) he could make a ton of money for the Rogue from Protective Potion or make simple potions like neutral basewarming charm to keep his most at-risk residents safe in the coldest nights. I just like imagining Harry and Leo hanging out! It'd be cool if Harry could teach him something too, it would make her feel better about even friendships anyway haha poor dear

I love this chapter. I will never tire of reading your awesome fight scenes, and I just love everything about Harry's time in the Lower Alleys. I love Remus, I like that it went this direction with him finding out and everything- Remus is not easily fooled! And now Remus is gonna set up like Meditating for Werewolves classes in the alleys or Mental Fortitude classes for them haha. Go Rabid Ralf! I love him for awkwardly lurking outside the Healer's tent for Harry. Harry really does meet the most interesting people- I hope we get to see goldflame and her brother again maybe, and Ralf. ONE DAY I shall write fan fiction of this amazing story!

I’m so excited to see this book finished! Thank you so much for doing this, I’ve been completely hooked for about a year and I’m already halfway through my re-read in preparation for book 5. I’m so glad Harry has Leo now and am looking forward to seeing how everyone continues to react to the facade being revealed, especially Severus. As much as I know we can’t have everyone (except Riddle of course) ending up on Rigel’s side, I can’t stop imagining each character coming to discover the truth and supporting Rigel/Harry anyway. Good luck with starting the next book!
