Again with expositions that make him look stupid. He’s taking all these classes. How has he not learned anything? How is he so incompetent with the things he has? This is stupid. Come on man. There’s no need to have someone constantly explaining stuff while Percy just sits there listening and going “wow is it really that useful” or something like that every time. Have him explain it himself or have people around him talk about it. He’s just sitting there looking stupid, not knowing that what he has is rare. It’s a fucking legendary item just sitting in your inventory. Learn about it in your free time

Oh my goooooood. No it would be fine if he was in a relationship with his spirit smh. You never said it was wrong once. My god this whole forcing plot by making him stupid is annoying. Paying the principal, not being able to recognize what’s going on around him, not learning about the world, now being forced into a fake relationship with the cliche of it becoming real soon? Ugh come on man. You’re better than that

Making the mc dumb for an exposition is poor writing in my mind especially when he’s supposed to be smart. There’s tons of other ways to explain the position he’s in without making Percy look dumb. Like him inferring it based off of listening to people talk in the background or Gaia and him talking about it and him understanding it. Instead you have him incredibly confused and letting the principal or anyone else to just lead him to an answer they want him to find. It’s bad and stupid and makes Percy look braindead. He’s getting led by the nose by these people when he should be at least able to counter and come up with the answers based off of little info.
