Why would SA-X want to kill Samus, I mean it helped her at the end of Metroid fusion.

That was pretty good. Considering how tanky Samus is, I always figured at least one of the SA-X's would have survived. A few points of contention.
1) Dark Samus was originally a Metroid, therefore, she should still be part Metroid and can absorb X Parasites like Samus can. It could be an interesting way for Dark Samus to repair herself, absorb however many SA-X's survived the B.S.L. explosion since they will most likely have been weakened by the blast.
2) I'm pretty sure Dark Samus can't open portals, just fly really fast. She most certainly didn't use one in any of the Prime games. There was the first portal Samus encountered (and subsequently followed Dark Samus into) in the beginning of Prime 2, but I don't think Dark Samus created that one.
3) Dark Samus floating around in space for over 10 years doesn't sound right. I'm basing this off of the rather well researched Timeline from the Metroid Database. That Timeline suggests that Fusion takes place 3 years after Prime 3. That still seems like more than enough time for Dark Samus to repair herself though. Prime 3 takes place a few months after Prime 2. However, Dark Samus was able to repair herself after surviving the destruction of a planet in a another dimension, brainwash lost of Pirates, conquer Phaaze and start the Phazon Crisis. All of that happened in a matter of months.
Don't let the size of my review frighten you, I really enjoyed this prologue. Not sure how the story will progress from here, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next one.
