I love it, but you already know that! ;) I really like how this shows Christine's motivations and provides a critical fill-in for the musical, because she kind of whipsaws from being "nope, not doing it" to showing up at rehearsal for the next scene. Also, moar Christine/Meg please. ;D

I enjoy these little vignettes, a side-view between the scenes of the musical, giving us more insight into the characters' thoughts. My favorite part of this one is the paragraph where she hears Mme Giry read the note and she hears it "in Erik's' voice", and how his words stung, yet she knew he wanted more than a student. Just lovely.
You've done a great job with her indecision here as well, painting both sides of the conflict. Perfect ending, too, summing it up. To choose...
