That was probably the smoothest takedown of Coil that I've read, but then you have done complicated takedowns of him before so this was refreshingly different. Kudos for that. I'm still hoping that everything works out in the end, except for Carol but she's a broken idiot.
I especially like the misperceptions on both sides of the main plotline. Though I do wonder why we haven't had any scenes with New Wave lately.

Huh. I was really expecting more things to go wrong for the group. Having everything run so smoothly makes this feel much less like "One Bad Day" and more of "One Day That Went Bad But Is Getting Awesome". Still, I appreciate the new chapter.

This is an interesting story, I'm noticing that you write a fair amount of stories that look interesting. I'll have to get around to more of them. I started The Slippery Slope a while back and I'm having trouble getting past chapter 4, mostly cause my poor baby girl Taylor is powerless and becoming a racist dickhead. Hope you get back to this one eventually though.
