As someone who plants hate with a burning passion, I completely sympathize with Sarah. Every living thing hates me. Waaah.
Tbh I'd go to a Slughorn party because osi saapaadu. But I wouldn't get invited because of the ariya unmai I dropped in the previous paragraph.
"And then the conversation had shifted from weird live onstage performances to Metamorphmagi"- I can't shake the image of Jean Valjean changing his nose to a pig snout during his big song in Les Miserables. Why do you put these pictures in my head?
I didn't even know that I shipped Remus and Lily till I read this. Is that the endgame? Then what'll you do with Sirius? I'm getting ahead of myself. Eeeee.
I love how sending an owl is just a verb version of 'owl' the same way we say mailed or texted. And I also love the Alice in Wonderland shout-out. :D
Aloe vera actually does have magical properties. I slather liberal quantities onto my skin in the vague hope that it can do something for the barren wasteland. But even magic has limits so it can only do so much.
Also, I remembered a few more of these, so I'll be ready whenever you drop the next chapter.

Violent alarms are a way of life. They are not for the faint of heart. I can't wake up without Disturbed screaming into my ear.
Is it just me or is this chapter shorter than your usual ones? Can I please punch Alice in the face? She's annoying me we get to meet the cousin too? I want to punch her too. I seem to want to punch a lot of people.
I don't know who has my copy of Magician's Nephew. Waaaaaah.

Fun fact: I miscalculated the number of days we had before Graphics. I realized this fact about twenty minutes ago.

/Fuck it I give up
I've been meaning to read this story for quite a while now, but Lack of Discipline conspired with Life and prevented me. It's all their fault. I'm completely blameless.
I have to wake up early tomorrow. And wake the Skeleton as well. So naaaaturally, I'm here. Poor life choices ftw.
Since I'm super organized and awesome, I will present my review in numbered form
1. I love the premise right off the bat because I'm a sucker for origin stories.
2. I've only seen James so far, but his character seems to navigate the choppy waters between imagination and canon well, unlike SOME origins I wouldn't care to mention
3. I now desperately want to smell a mixture of cinnamon and musk. Podi.
4. I also have a desperate craving for cinnamon rolls but that has nothing to do with anything. I'm rambling.
5. The plot seems so quintessentially fanfiction-y. Eeeeeeeeee.
6. I want to go onto the next chapter but my eyes are closing. I guess I know what I'm doing first thing tomorrow morning. :)
7. (If you see this tonight) Go to sleep.

This I such a lovely story! I frequent HP OC fics, but it can be really difficult to find ones where the OC isn't Mary Sue-ish or just... offputting lol. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this one, which is a lighthearted gem amongst the melodramas that usually make up Marauder era stories. Sarah is just so normal, and I love it! It seems so real honestly, the fact that she doesn't worship the Marauders, but she still shows signs of admiration. It's like those "cool," kids in school who, even though they can be kind of arrogant or jerky, you can't help but want to gravitate towards. I can't wait for your next update! (:

Another good chapter! ;) In particular i loved the science explanation! From what i understand, in transfiguration, magic is used as the energy to break and change the chemical structures of the materials and rearrange them in something new... thinking about all the thermodynamic processes behind this concept makes me want to cry... now i can see why Dumbledore, a transfiguration master, helped Flamel with his studies of alchemy ;)) I wonder if this can be applicated in charms and DADA too... like the Protego is an tightening of the molecular bonds in the air or the Petrificus Totalus is a deceleration of the electrons motions in the atoms... Anyway, sorry for the rambling! It's just really really fascinating! X))
Back to the story, i loved how James and Sarah connected in the theory of transfiguration and, even if in a strange way, James made 'progress' with Lily showing her that he does have a brain under that mophead he calls hair ;))
