I can't help but agree with everything you said.
When I finished watching UBW I was upset by how underused and wasted both Saber and Gilgamesh's characters were. I actually read the Fate/Zero novel so for me it's even more infuriating how Gil just barely acknowledges she exists for two seconds before starting his "Villainous-Exposition Speech" or how Saber's side-plot just derailed/stagnated into Over-powered Damsel-In-Distress.
Even on the off-chance that it was a matter of simplifying an overly complex plot, though doubtful, and thus making it impossible to develop Saber's character or further her growth, there was more than enough info in the VN and the wiki to write a better line of dialogue between her and Gilgamesh than "How long has it been, Saber?" with adequate subtext.
How difficult was it to write something to the effect of "Hi Saber! I have not forgotten what we last spoke about but we're both kinda busy so I await your answer by the end of this Grail War." creeper vibe "Don't disappoint me."
Good grief if they could do it in the Fate Route it only makes sense to do a version of the same in EVERY route!

That aside, this was really funny. Definitely got a few belly laughs out of me. Poor Shirou was literally tossed around in this one, wasn't he? XD And I love Gilgamesh's line at the very end after he smacks Shinji in the head. It was the perfect ending line. You did a really nice job. :D Keep up the good work sista.

Rin's a bae. 'I'm your momma now' XDDD That was really fun to read.
I know right? When I saw how Unlimited Blades Works ended. I, first, was annoyed by how Gilgamesh died. I can't explain why but it annoys me. Then I realized that Saber suffered so much in those f***ing Holy Grail Wars all for nothing, only to become a side character and disappear as if she was just a nice bro'. The scene with Rin and Shirou at Saber's grave made me so sad, it only meant 'Forever Alone'. I was pissed of. This can apply to all those amazing characters in Fate/Zero: the events in F/Z helped Saber to realize her mistakes so, in this point of view, they died for nothing.
