bru this is literally amazing. idk if you still check these, but this is a piece that puts most other fics i’ve read to shame. you have a brilliant way of portraying the characters just as everyone imagines them to be, and even outside of the characters, the message of the story really made me think and stuck with me for a while. thank you for being so talented

Yes!
Fantastic.
I loved it.
I love how much (personal?) philosophy and self- introspection you intertwine into their encounters.
And then the fluff-factors are like whipped cream on top of this wonderfully solid, descriptive, thoughtful piece.
Really enjoyed.
Thank you.

Languid kiss. I can't sign in right now, but you can reply there via pm. THIS was fluffy and sooo cute I need fluff in storms right now. ...life sucks like that, but every so often someone turns everything around and kisses you in the rain.

This is fabulous! Well written, great descriptions, and you have both of their voices down pat.

I really love this one too, the imagery and Arnold's talk about storms and his favorite part being the end of them because it means you get to do something new and then Helga just going in for the kiss. I can't wait to read more from you in the future.

Wow. This was stunning. I don't have words for how...atmospheric it was. I felt like I was standing in the middle of the storm right there with them. It was intense and loved it a lot. Helga and Arnold's characterizations were especially great, I could definitely see them becoming these characters in the future.
Also, Arnold's grandparents must be so old lol. I didn't mind though because the thought of either of them dying kills me.
Thank you for writing this!

Awww, this was wonderful. All the ups and downs of a typical Helga experience (her parents depress me sometimes. Just...yeah), and then a beautiful end result. I really, really enjoyed the way that you wrote Arnold in this, particularly as he was talking about the storm. And the look that she couldn't identify was wonderfully described, culminating in a perfect moment:
"Helga, I've been crushing on you since seventh grade."
That was lovely. Truly, truly lovely.
