This is pretty interesting. Zidane being an Angel of Death should really be explored more and I'm interested on where this goes. Keep up the wonderful work and take care!

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. This is a concept I've always wanted to see done well - I wish it was a monster of a fic! Fascinating to see what Zidane's personality would look like if he'd been raised a killer, and I think you've got it just perfectly. And as always, the relationship between Garnet and Zidane is beautiful and addictive. Dark, emotional eyes must be very strange for someone who's only seen dead blue.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah YEAH, a good old Crimson fic! Missed your stuff, and it's so refreshing to read some FF9 again.
For a premise that's so easy and obvious, this is pretty brilliant. You hardly see this concept done so WELL, to really take into consideration the environmental factor of growing up with Garland and Kuja for role models, and what that'll do to ANY personality, just about. And you do it with not too much embellishing or exposition, hitting the highlights. I liked Garland's sudden "Isn't it wonderful?"-it hits a really tough nail on the head about the genomes' conditioning/programming and how proud Garland is of it all. Also, the detail about the flowers and birds dropping dead-pretty chilling!
The last conversation with Garnet is the best part. The way Zidane "dispatched" the guards and then answered Garnet's questions made me laugh stupid-hard. But then every time he faces the princess, you get to see a sunny lil' crack in his resolve and purpose. It is *delicious.*
