Yeah Marcus messed up here, not gonna lie. But given how long it's been I doubt anyone could've given him an accurate assessment of what House had planned. Curious to see how his meeting with the other big shots go too.

Awesome chapter, and Hanlon’s reaction to Marcus leaves me to believe he has a connection to Marcus’ family. My best guess is either trained by his grandfather, or Hanlon was an old friend of Marcus’ father, James.

Did not see the family line to be so interesting.
Also, regarding House I really hope you choose him as the one to 'win'. He could not realistically rule the world or even the USnot without forming a government and making a country, which are vastly different than ruling a corporation -and he knows it.
What he could do, is rule a city-state, or an autonomous zone inside a new country. His technological and domination and a large economy would allow him to do exactly as he said he would.
You could also set it up so Marcus&co support house in creating a proper state, while House just does his own thinga bit of a twin autocracy, which could become an executive autocracy with democratic legislature.
Otherwise, with his lineage (which i hope House will discover fairly fast) and proper support, Marcus could get elected as an NCR president or at least secure a congress seat, and strike a new NCR-House deal.
Regarding BOS, I yet would like to again remind that NCR-House alliance was planned and is in game files.

I was honestly having to look it up because I have only gotten this far in New Vegas once, and I had forgotten what all happened after meeting House. But those laser toting lunatics...things just got a whole lot more ocmplicated in the Mojave

Another excellent chapter that I’d expect nothing less for and I’m loving this summary of the King’s quest line, and that Marcus got to join them. Can’t wait to see what other characters he recruits or gives different fates to.
